Sean Wahrmund
Sean Wahrmund is a real estate entrepreneur and the founder of WBEquity, a Dallas based real estate investment and asset management company specializing in multifamily properties. A native of Austin, Texas, Sean graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation Sean began his real estate career in 2008 when he purchased his first single family rental in Dallas. He spent the next eight years building a portfolio of 13 single family rental homes. In 2017, after a year in New York for his wife's fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Sean founded WBEquity. WBEquity currently owns and operates 744 apartment units in Dallas totaling $85 million in value.
Sheena Black, MD
Sheena Black is a full time practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon and the co-founder of WBEquity. Sheena graduated summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin School of Engineering then attended medical school and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After residency Sheena completed a Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery Fellowship at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, where she trained directly under many of the world’s top experts in orthopaedic sports medicine and worked as assistant team physician for the New York Knicks. Upon completion of Fellowship, Sheena began practicing medicine in Dallas and co-founded WBEquity with her husband, Sean.
